postpartum 2.jpg

The time after a baby is born can be one of the most joyous times in life of anyone couple, but it can also be one of the most
stressful times. This combination of joy and stress has the ability to take its toll on new parents.

In this series, we will discuss:

  • Postpartum challenges: Physical, Emotional, Postpartum Normalcy

  • Your little bundle of J O Y and what to expect

  • Routines- What is best- for you and your baby

  • Soothing techniques and how to calm your baby.

Postpartum preparation will not help remove these feelings and situations, but it can teach parents how to deal with them. More than anything else, postpartum preparation will help teach parents it is acceptable to have concerns and fears, and it will teach them what to expect in the critical days ahead.

Taught by an experienced mother of 5, certified birth and postpartum doula that has supported many families through labor, birth and postpartum adjustments.
